INTRODUCTION

Chagai Lot covers 18% of the area and 2.65% of the total estimated population of Balochistan and includes Chagai district and Mashkhel tehsil. The areas included in Chagai Lot span from 27.184303o - 29.898803oN and 60.869401o- 65.523777o E. This Lot shares borders with Noshki, Kharan, Washuk and Panjgoor districts of Pakistan and triangular border with Afghanistan and Iran.
